Arkansas - Child Custody question?

at what age can a child ask/state where he wants to live?
Answers:
not sure for your state specifically, but it is usually about 11-14
He can state whatever he wants at whatever age he wants. It's up to the judge whether or not to take his wishes into account. Usually, judges will not consider the opinion of a child less than 11-12. The older the child, the more weight his preference will be given, but until age 18 the final decision is up to the judge.
