Are you allowed to take blood pressure med to county (Tarrant) jail?

when you turn yourself in after a plea bargain can you take your necessary meds with you? If not? What do you do?
Answers:
Yes. You generally can take them in any jail with you. They have to be in their original bottles...with your name, etc. on them.
Some jails don't do that (very few) but they are required to obtain your meds through their own dispensery.
Call the jail and ask before you go in.
Absolutely No! The prisoner must ask for medical treatment from the prison.
tell them what meds you take and give them your Dr.s name and address,
